Griswold Campaign Sees Unprecedented Momentum in First 24 Hours

Griswold Campaign raises over $185,000, from 869 contributions, over 100 state endorsements.
DENVER, Colo. – In the first 24 hours of announcing, Jena Griswold’s campaign for Attorney General has raised over $185,000 from 869 contributions, and received more than one hundred endorsements from Coloradans across the state. Griswold raises more in 24 hours than any other state office candidate this campaign cycle in Colorado.
“I am honored by the outpouring of support and excited that so many Coloradans have joined our campaign. I look forward to meeting with Coloradans across the state to discuss my plans to stand up to Trump, fight to protect our rights and freedoms, and protect the Colorado way of life,” said Secretary Jena Griswold.
Griswold’s campaign launches with the support of over one hundred endorsements from unions, current and former elected officials, and community leaders, including Lieutenant Governor Gail Schoettler, Congressman Jason Crow, House Majority Leader Monica Duran, and District Attorney Amy Padden.
Griswold is running for Colorado Attorney General to protect our rights and freedoms, and protect the Colorado way of life. Griswold was elected as Secretary of State in 2018 and reelected in 2022. Her accomplishments as Colorado’s Chief Election Officer include increasing drop boxes and in-person voting, implementing automatic voter registration, and providing voters with tools to track their ballot from mailing to counting. Before assuming office, Griswold practiced international anti-corruption law, business law, election law, and ran a small business. She also served as the director of the Governor of Colorado’s Washington, D.C. Office. Griswold earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She lives in Louisville with her husband Mario, and their son.
